Hundreds of Top End heroes and villains assembled in early June to celebrate all things geek at the Territory's first ever Wild North Comic Con.

Stone Monkey comic shop hosted the event, showcasing some of the Territory's finest talent.

The WILD NORTH COMIC CON featured a variety of activities for comic book fans including artists alley, live digital drawing, a cosplay competition and the launch of four new titles by Wild North Comics creators.

Australian Cartoonist Association member Stuart Thornton, attended the event as a featured artist and said "it was such an honour to be invited the first of what I hope will be an annual event. There are so many talented artists in the NT, so it's great to be able to get them all together in one place to show off their work."
